Third gen headlight wiring

Help i am trying to get the spots on Melons 3rd gen to work. Where do i take the the relay from main feed from?? Any clues as to what colour the wire is? As when i tried to trace it it appears to have 3 feeds. I know i am electrically incompetent but one must try.

I need to know where to take the hi-beam to connection 86 wiring from.

Re: Third gen headlight wiring

The three wires will be......... Earth - High beam - Low beam.

On the 2nd gen the high beam feed is a red wire with a green tracer, don't know if it's  the same on the 3rd gen, but nothing will go bang if you get the wrong one..
The same wire can be found in the multi-plug on the steering column.

Re: Third gen headlight wiring

Ok so does the switch go on the earth for the relay?? and does the 3rd gen use the same colour coded wire as the is one that's red with a green stripe.
