Torsion bars

Need some advice please fella's

Saturday is Breaker day!  (Bayside is coming to collect the bodyshell at last)
Plan is to roll the chassis on to his trailer then (carefully) jack it up and strip the wheels and suspension off, lower down and strap up!
So basically he can drive off with the body / chassis / tank.

I know the torsion bars are under tension, so is there a removal sequence to get them off safely!! (engine / box / exhaust already gone)

Anything else to watch out for??
TIA

All advice gratefully received

All piss taking laughed at in the usual manner!

Re: Torsion bars

You can just unwind the adjuster bolts till its sits on the front bump stops, should be easy with not weight to speak of on the front.

Re: Torsion bars

Thanks Tony, was hoping it was that simple but wanted to check. I've seen the damage those things can do if not treated with respect big_smile
