@Ian (bio)

hi buddy hows things with the 1st gen?

just thought i would let you know, i accidently found that byway near avebury you told me not to go down, was too late before i realised. took about an hour for my friend to help me free myslef. good job he has a surf and not the freelander he was going to buy eh?

but now i see what you mean;) was completely bottomed out, 3 wheels off the ground, ploughing the earth while being towed free.

Bio recently related a story of rescuing 2 lads from Romford who had planted Daddy's new(ish) Shogun in a little puddle, made me chuckle

Re: @Ian (bio)

Well i am still finding fauts with the truck but it,s better than it was , the plain is a flood zone atm and standard trucks would get drowned . I need to make sure that my truck will  not let me down before i sort anything.  And i have promised the L200 club a run which i will need to honnor before i do another surf run ..... september starts the off road season baring exercises.

Re: @Ian (bio)

i can imagine it's bad at the plains, the small byways round me are terrible for what they are. seem to get worse (better) everytime i go there.

Re: @Ian (bio)

I think you should carefully consider the consequences of using byways in the current weather..... if they get chewed up too badly the council will use that as an excuse to close them, due to the cost of repairs.  sad  sad

Re: @Ian (bio)

Its the shit heads on their motocross bikes around here thats the issue, theres loaads of them constantly spinning the back wheel ruining it. But thats a valid point regardless.
