outrageous goes mad max

seeing as there is no members projects.im gonna put this here and maybe a little space may be created for such a thread.

ok this is denzels new trialler we have been building in the shop.its based on a range rover classic chassis that has been cut and shut  by 24 inches.it is powered my a 3.5 ltr six cylinder nissan patrol engine and gearbox standard range rover axle up front and a forward control 101 land rover atlas axle on the rear rear disc brakes have been changed for drum brakes,,it has a central driving position,with independant front and rear braking,rear being fiddle operated,it uses three remote servos from and mgb,

Without wanting to sound like a technotwat - why would you change rear discs to drums?

coz we wanted to fit rear fiddle brakes.and it was easier to do with drum brakes.

yea if you closely at the third pic from last you will see the two bars that operate the hydraulic cylinders by the drivers seat.

yea much,much more stronger than the standard range rover rear axle, well its all done now will post up the finished pics beggining of next week.let you lot tear it apart with constructive critisism big_smile

Rich not with standing other issues anything running fiddle brakes is illegal for road use mate.
