bit late logged on last nite n seen it n clicked on it then when i got there it said i needed a flash player so didnt bother clicking the link on it clicked right out. then someone put up about it afterwards grrrrrrrrrrr prob to late now  sad

Run malwarebytes its recomended to clear some of that type of virus.
I (my son realy) used it to clear my computor. The virus I had comes up and tells you that your computor is infected and you need to buy a certain program to clear it . Of course it's infected thier virus has just infected it!!! Bankers!!

Koobface?  It's a Worm, rather than a Virus.  Not really a bad one and easy to detect and remove.

I think with me it was made worse because I collected the "2010 security" one at the same time, the worm thing became apparant AFTER I got rid of the 2010 thing....and that isn't a nice one, as Brummie will testify orc13  orc13

Format c: always worked for me.........

And regular ccleaner and malwarebytes and deleting browsing history and
having the luxury of a work paid for virus scanner that detects everything which
can be a pain sometimes when it blocks stuff you don't want it too.....
