Thinking of

Getting a replacement for SWMBO's Daewoo. We have seen a nice looking Mazda 6.  2l auto with just under 30k on the clock, it's a 2007 and is under £7K at a garage. It's an ex- motability car so is this a reasonable price for it or should we be walking away?

Re: Thinking of

Motability will only do two services and an MOT, so its now due a third (expensive) service, probably discs and pads too. As "Quick-Fit" are the only tyre contract, you will probably find three different makes of tyre on it....they should be named makes but often aren't.
Look for bumper damage and seat staining, some of them stink inside...really, really bad. As the drivers now dont have to have the body damage repaired, give it a good check over, lots get abused. 30k is actually quite high for a motab vehicle most go off contract with about 20k on them.
And genuine Mazda bits are bloody expensive too  neutral

Thanks mate!   thumbs  thumbs
It's a feckin minefield looking for a car that we both like. Although the car will primarily be SWMBO's I will be driving it too and there is no way I'll drive any sort of distance in a shopping trolly
