His mate is looking for a Surf 3.0 diesel engine. He doesn't want to pay £1100 for one he's seen on Ebay, so I told him I have one for sale for £550 complete with all ancillaries.
He said great, can you call my mate Karl to discuss it.
I said I haven't got time for telephone conversations but gave him my postcode and the weight of the engine incase he wanted to arrange his own collection. I said I can secure it to a pallet but I need to know if he definitely wants it first so I can lift it out of the truck and either straight onto a pallet or stash it away in the corner of the garage until I've got time to advertise it on Ebay.
Again he replies with a load of phone numbers!
I said, no need for any phone talk until I know you definitely want it and the price is not negotiable.
He still wants me to phone his mate!!!!!
Phuq 'im, I'll stick it on Ebay next week for £650.
