Centre Dashboard Removal

You may need need to remove centre dashboard to replace the stereo etc.

Tools/Equipment Needed

  • Cross-head & flat-bladed screwdrivers
  • Small socket (10 or 12mm I think)

First you will need to perform the Lower Dashboard Removal steps.

Remove the lower centre panel - this is fixed by two clips of which one can be seen in the photo (A). The centre of these clips needs to be pushed in slightly, then the whole clip should pull out.

Remove all the knobs from the ventilation controls (just pull them off) and then carefull prise the panel off starting from the left-hand side (the right-hand side by the clock has a little tab that is tucked under the remaning dash.

Now you should be able to pull away the centre dash panel, you will need to disconnect the clock wiring and also the cigarette lighter wiring (if you want to move the panel away completely).
