Tent When I go motorcrossing and 4x4'ing I usually sleep in the back of my surf but I have a lot of gear that I don't want to store in the truck (especially when off roading in it), plus its nice to have somewhere dry to get changed etc. I got this this vehicle tent to fulfill both requirements. Its an Aztec Auto Haven and I got it from World Of Camping. This one is the standard Auto Haven that just comes with the outer flysheet and groundsheet and cost less than £80 which when compared with other similar tents I think is very good value. You can also get an Auto Haven Plus which is the same but with an additional 2-person inner tent. The tent is not the easiest to put up and take down and really needs 2 people to do it effectively but it is a nice size with plenty of room for gear and space to get changed etc. It is self-standing without the vehicle (rear door that you can close when you remove the vehicle). You really need someone to lift the poles over the vehicle when you back up to it and when you are doing this the tent fills with exhaust fumes so best to have the other door open too. It also comes with poles and guys to convert the main door into a porch/canopy. Well recommended if you like to live out of your truck.
